An article on today's Wall Street Journal highlights that manys seniors have chided the new prescription drug coverage either because of its complexity or because the math doesn't add up for savings. According to the article there are 14.2 million seniors enrolled in these plans and only 3.2 signed up voluntary, barely a quarter. Some seniors have opted to continue doing what they were doing before: ordering their drugs from Canada.
It goes to show how well thought out the plan was, for the Drug Companies, and not for the Seniors. Had this administration really meant to help seniors, they would have offered simpler plans that really stood to save them money.
