On North Korea

I must say I was quite surprised to learn about North Korea giving up its nuclear ambitions. I honestly expected it to walk away giving yet another absurd reason why, but this time it was different. A lot of details need to be worked out still but I honestly hope they adhere to this commitment as opposed to 1994.

I suppose Washington will take a lot of credit for this. It wouldn't surprise me if they link the success on the NK talks to their staunch show of strength in dealing with Iraq. Here diplomacy worked, but one must wonder what would have happened if this administration had pursuit diplomacy with Iraq as they intensely did w/ NK.
