the measure would effectively recognize illegal immigration, an issue of concern for a large number of California voters.I have to do research into the issue. I know we have an immigration problem but how does issuing driver's licenses help? Seems they will continue to be illegal immigrants and in no way be on the path to achieving legal status on the US.
As I stated before, I'm inclined to side w/ the opponents now but I'm open to ideas on this issue. Care to shed some light?

I think illegal immigrants should get some type of Identification. We have to acknowledge that we have more than 10 million illegal immigrants in the US, so why not know who they are. I support California on this one and let those hard working individual earn their living.
